Friday

No work today, but, I'm "on call". Hopefully no one calls me. We'll see.

9:00 a.m: Cereal with rice milk.

1:30 p.m: Quinoa, tomato, goat cheese, artichoke, balsamic dressing. I took a photo (and posted it for a few hours there!) but now realize it truly looks like throw up in a plate. I took it off. It tasted really good, just doesn't look really good. I'll spare your eyes.

Exercise (3:00 p.m): 30 mins on treadmill and a bunch of exercises. Trying to work on core work more. 

6:30 p.m: Some take out stuff from the grocery store. Wheatberry salad (how I miss thee! Still haven't been able to find wheat berries anywhere so I can make this myself.), Ratatouille, some tabouli and a small portobello mushroom. Good stuff. This is a small container by the way, not a big one.
7:30 p.m: Ashamed. Truly, ashamed. I bought a bag of chips that I was planning to take with me tomorrow to an outting which I will talk about later. Yea, I opened it and ate the whole bag. WTF. I have never ever done that. *sigh*

9:00 p.m: Kale toasted with some olive oil/salt.

Exercise (10 p.m.): Felt guilty about the chips so I did a 30 min crazy go on the treadmill. Doesn't make up for the chips but still. I tried. :(

I'm off to a friend's cottage for the next few days. So no updates! Bye bye technology.

6:00 a.m: Banana

Exercise (7 a.m): 45 min boot camp.

9:30 a.m: Having a protein bar.

1:00 p.m: Ah, love it when there is leftover food from a meeting. This was SO good. Portobello mushroom sandwich, salad with the greatest dressing ever, tomato with cheese. Delish. Best of all, free.
8:00 p.m: Red pepper and baby carrots with hummus. Also a protein shake. Rice milk, protein powder, strawberry, flax seed, coconut.

Wednesday... but really Thursday.

We have Friday off in my office. Yeaaaaah. So today is really Thursday mode.

5:30 a.m: Cereal with rice milk.

Exercise (7:00 a.m): 1 hour with trainer.

12:15 p.m: The usual salad. Arugula, goat cheese, TVP, flax seed, tomato, red pepper, balsamic dressing. I remembered the photo after I ate some of it so it looks half eaten.
4:30 p.m: So a co-woker is getting married and we threw her a lil mini party and I may have stuffed my face with chips. Boooooo.

7:30 p.m: So the co-worker was soooo happy all night. It was great. First, we went to Hooters. I had a cheese quesadilla with like sour cream, guacamole and shit. Good but oh man. That was it for food. After we went the London Tap House and I watched everyone get drunk while I sipped on water. The usual.
I'm watching Toddlers and Tiaras. I just want to yell at everyone and punch everyone out. Especially the mother's. Man, I don't like kids.

*drumroll please* The results are in.

Ok. I got measured and weighed again.

I've lost another 5 pounds. Took me two months to do it but I did it. Hah. It's not that easy to lose once you've already lost a bit. But, on the up side my muscles are up and I've lost a total of 26" overall from all over the place. Once again, more in the boobage. lol. I'll live.

Grand total...

16.2 pounds lost.

That is all. Hard core from now on. It's on.

Tuesday.

6:00 a.m: Banana

Exercise (7:00 a.m): 45 min boot camp.

9:00 a.m: Whole grain bagel with cream cheese.

12 -1 p.m: Falafel pita with the works, lentil soup and some chocolate covered pretzels. I. am. stuffed.

7:00 p.m: Avocado guacamole with garlic, cilantro, salt, lemon juice. Had it with organic, kinda healthy chips.

Getting measured and weighed tomorrow morning. Eek.

Short week... we have Friday off. Woohoo!!

7:15 a.m: Cereal, flax seed, with rice milk.

9:00 a.m: Handful of almonds.

12:00 p.m: Exact same salad as yesterday. I also had some trail mix (not the healthy kind) that was in the kitchen.

2:30 p.m: Almonds, again.

Exercise (6:00 p.m): 1 hour with trainer.

8:00 p.m: Banana while it was cooking. Boiled a potato, baked some broccoli and zucchini in olive oil and had it all with greek yogurt.

Sunday.

1:00 p.m: Oatmeal with water, banana, cinnamon.

3:00 p.m: A familiar photo in this blog. Salad. Arugula, tomato, red pepper, goat cheese, TVP, Balsamic dressing.
5:00 p.m: Carrots and broccoli with hummus.

7:30 p.m: 1 hard boiled egg with some salt.

I've been craving something sweet alllll day. I almost bought some chocolate at the grocery store earlier, but stopped myself. Now I want something, but I have nothing un-healthy what so ever in my place. As it should be. But sometimes you just want a little somethin somethin.

8:45 p.m: Cereal, flax seed, and rice milk.

Done. I now sit and wait for Breaking Bad at 10. No working out today. Sunday I relax.

Saturday.

11:30 a.m: Cereal with rice milk.

Exercise (2:30 p.m): 30 mins on treadmill and 30 mins of weights.

4:00 p.m: Veggies with hummus.
6:00 p.m: Protein shake. Rice milk, protein powder, banana, strawberries.
I went to a BBQ. It was good times. I was there like 3 a.m. Yikes. I enjoyed the company. 

Food... umm, no photos but I pretty much ate spinach dip or hummus with nachos or pita, grilled veggies and hmm, that's it. It was just a lot of that. There were like 4 vegetarians there so lots of veggies.

Friday.

7:30 a.m: Protein shake. Strawberry, banana, flax seed, rice milk, protein powder.

I don't know why but my legs are totally sore today. I'd blame it on boot camp yesterday but the truth is I think it's from sitting on a park picnic table for hours on end yesterday. Either way, pain.

12:30 p.m: Falafel wrap. Not a good photo.
4:30 p.m: Had chips at work. Oh Friday's. 

8:00 p.m: Two of my old co-workers called and we went to Asian Legend for dinner. Yummy fatty food. There were all kinds of stuff on the table but I pretty much had the fried tofu and Cantonese chow mein. Love it. Ignore the finger.

Thursday. Is Hot.

So, let's do a compare of a screen shot I took off my phone last September when I went to Lebanon and one I took today for today's temperature. We're hotter than the middle east!

Today is my work summer party. We are going to the Toronto islands all day to eat, drink, do activities and hang out. We plan to die in heat.
Exercise (7:00 a.m): 45 min. boot camp. I felt like the fat kid in class! haha I suck at core exercises.

9:00 a.m: Oatmeal with flax seed, cinnamon, banana, water.

So it was hot. I can't believe I spent all day outside. I do not regret one bit bailing on my friends who are going camping this week-end. They'll have fun, but I would've been a crabby biatch all week-end. Anyways it was a good time had by all. Here is how it started...

11:30 a.m: We got subway sandwiches as a lunch. I had a veggie one which is honestly just bread, lettuce, tomato and a cucumber. So I had to add a lot of sub sauce to give it any flavour. So that was that.

We then all got our summer party t-shirts. We get one every year so by now I've gathered a collection. They're all my gym shirts. Anyways, mine was grey and said "To the beat y'all" It's nice. But, kinda snug. I still wore it, I was just self conscious the whole time. All in my head I'm sure. To make myself feel better I just said "Hey, if this were last year you wouldn't even be able to fit into it". So go me. I did take a photo of it but I'm too nervous to post it. Maybe some day.

We got there and there were snacks. I had some pita and nachos dipped in some dip. No clue what it was but it was tasty. Very fatty I'm sure.

4:00 p.m ish: Veggie burger with corn on the cob and a cookie. I'm apparently the only vegetarian at work so there was one burger for me cooked. Nice! it was pretty good.
The day consisted of some fun activities too. Tug of war (which I like to think my muscle really helped in! haha), water balloon dodgeball, flip cup, broken telephone and a three legged race. Good times.

I was missing some friends who recently left the company. I felt like my crew wasn't there. Sad.

We hung out for the rest of the day til about 7. There were a lot of water fights going on with bottled Dasani water. That shit is like $2.50 a bottle and here we are having fights with it. haha. That's what happens when we don't have to pay. Anyways, I left on the ferry with the crew at 7 and everyone else went to this pub but I was feeling really hot and tired so I just went home to hibernate in my air conditioned bug free home.

I fell asleep at 9:30. Right after Degrassi. :)

Wednesday.

6:00 a.m: Half a banana and a few almonds.

Exercise (7:00 a.m): 30 min treadmill.

I was supposed to get my measurements done this morning at the gym. I came in but my trainer wasn't feeling well. It's fate. I ate like shit last night and I was regretting it. I am saved for another week. I think I'll try for next Wednesday. I did get up early for nothing though haha well, not nothing. I managed to do 30 mins of cardio I guess. *sigh* I fail when left to my own devices. What will I do when I have no trainer or boot camp!?! Anyways, I feel starved. I need a proper breakfast.

9:00 a.m: Bananas'a' Whey from Booster Juice with flaxseed booster.

12:00 p.m: Leftovers from last night. Ingredients on that post.
We played a quick game of poker at lunch. Enjoyed it. I had a straight for the first time ever and go figure, everyone else did too. WTF. I lost. But it was fun!

3:45 p.m: Almonds.

6:00 p.m: Smushed an avocado with cilantro, lemon juice, salt and garlic and had with too many nachos. Somewhat healthy nachos. But still, nachos.

Thursday is our work summer party. Likely gonna be outside, by water. It's supposed to be really hot. Like really, hot. Not looking forward to it. I guess the normal people go and wear shorts and tank tops. Um, last time I wore shorts or even a tank top was to go swimming... 2 years ago. Even then I hated every minute of it. Soooo I'll likely wear my jeans and some t-shirt.. that's probably black. Go me!
I did just buy a tank top but who am I kidding... I won't wear it. It requires a strapless bra and this chick can't pull that off. I see a return happening. I want my $20 back.

May as well update on my lunch now.

12:00 p.m: Salad, same as last night. Arugula, goat cheese, red pepper, tomato, TVP, balsamic dressing.

4:15 p.m: Snacked on almonds. Hungryyyyyy.

6:30 p.m: Yummmm look at all those veggies cooking. In olive oil and veggie broth are zucchini's, corn, carrots, peas, mushroom, green onion, garlic. Also have quinoa cooking to eat with it. Nom nom!
9:30 p.m: You know how I do it the night before I have a weigh-in... I eat! haha. I was having a rather healthy run there but a few friends decided to go out and I joined. May have found a nice new pub in the neighborhood so that's nice. Anyways, I had some nachos, fries and battered mushrooms. Healthy! hah!

Saturday.

I've had the A.C on all night and up until now and have no idea how hot it apparently is outside so I'm scared to go out. I don't have summer clothes so I'm wearing something I'd wear in Winter too. Ugh. I don't do summer. Anyways, here is what I've done so far.

11:30 a.m: 1 Oreo biscotti.

Exercise (12:00 p.m): 30 mins of treadmill.

1:30 p.m: Cereal with rice milk.

Off to my parents house for a backyard BBQ. Gonna die. They don't put on the A.C.

5:00 p.m onwards: So I ate throughout the night, random things and I forgot to take pics. Too bad for you cause it was all yummy. I had hummus, fatoush and sarma. I made those all links so you non Middle Easterners will know. I also had desert. Everything on that table. j/k! Had some cake, the biscotti I made (top right!) and hmmm that's it.
I had two separate people go in shock when they realized I'm almost 27. They both thought I was like 18 or something. Do I look that young? Like I wasn't dressed in like a t-shirt and jeans or something... I was just dressed somewhat "grown up" I think. It's my face. I mean, I guess I should be thankful I look young cause I'm sure I'll love that when I'm older but it also sucks cause no one takes you seriously cause they think you're a kid. I'm 26. Practically 30. I could be married with a kid right now and it would be normal. Oh God. Never!

I just remembered I have fudgsicles in the freezer. Damn my friends. They were supposed to finish those last night. I knew I'd end up stuffing my face with them if there were any left. So here I sit at 11:45 p.m with ice cream. My kind of night!

Friday!

Finally.

8:00 a.m: Half a banana.

9:00 a.m: Handful of almonds.

12:30 p.m: Falafel pita. Delish.

3:00 p.m: Had some all dressed chips that were in the kitchen... boooo to having no control.

Exercise (4:30 p.m): 1 hour personal training.

7:30 p.m: Nothing in the fridge so I got persuaded into sushi with friends. Sushi Moto on Yonge... pricy but tasty. See below. Not seen is the miso soup and the fudgsicles I had later in the night. 

Coconut sherbet in a coconut. Tasted like lotion. haha.
So I made oreo biscotti for a family get together I am going to tomorrow. I had a few pieces. Tasted ok. I'll take photos tomorrow of all the food that I'm sure will be at my parent's house.

Thursday.

I skipped boot camp. No excuse. I've only skipped 2 classes in the last 3 months and they both had legit reasons. This one was pure laziness. I got tired of waking up at 5 a.m. every day this week and well, I'm not a machine. So I said F it, I'm not going. Again, it felt great getting dressed in my own bathroom. I'm really getting sick of living out of a gym bag. I think that is going to be the deciding factor of if I sign up for this boot camp again.

7:30 a.m: Cereal with rice milk and flax seed.

12:30 p.m: Salad. Spinach, peppers, chick peas, quinoa, brocolli, half a boiled egg, onion, sunflower seeds, balsamic dressing.

3:00 p.m: Snacking on almonds and some chocolate that a co-worker gave us. So freakin good. Expensive Lindt chocolate... yummmmm.

Ain't it yummy?? Yeaaaaa!
So, tonight my work is putting on a charity poker game to raise funds for Japan. I'm loving the way our office looks right now! This is the main entrance. I decided not to play but will definitely hang out! Lots of people coming. Grand prize is $1000!
So, event went well. I've left now but I'm sure games are nowhere near done. I stayed and snacked on chips, chocolate covered almonds and some pizza. Dinner.

Wednesday.

6:00 a.m: Banana

Exercise (6:30 a.m): 30 mins. on treadmill in my building. F-ing hot in the gym, something is wrong with the A.C. On the upside, it makes you sweat like a beast. It felt nice to actually get ready in my own bathroom for once. I miss it. The facilities at my gym are fine but still, not the same.

9:30 a.m: Booster Juice "Canadian Colada". Pineapple, coconut, banana, frozen yogurt and protein powder.

12:00 p.m: Veggie burrito. Rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole, cilantro, salsa, veggies, whole wheat tortilla.

6:00 p.m: Avocado with some baked, organic tortilla chips.

Exercise (8:00 p.m): 45 min walk around the hood. Nice and breezy out there so I didn't sweat like usual, but definitely got the heart going. I also took a different route. I call it "condo row". Here is a snapshot of some of it.
9:15 p.m: Cereal with rice milk and flax seed.
Done for the night. TV sucks these days.

Tuesday.

Exercise (7:00 a.m): 45 min boot camp. I felt like the sluggish one today in class but it's ok, I'm doing something and it's better than nothing.

8:45 a.m: Oatmeal with flax seed, cinnamon, water, banana.

12:15 p.m: Salad. Same as last night. Arugula, spinach, goat cheese, tomato, red pepper, TVP and balsamic dressing. Yum! I also may have had a croissant that may have been in the kitchen...

6:00 p.m: Went for dinner with a friend from college. Glad I still keep in touch with her. Some place I've walked by a million times but yea, it's one of those "put everything in a bowl and they'll cook it for you" places. So, I put a bunch of veggies and tofu and vermicelli noodles in teriyaki sauce and voila. Pretty good. 
8:00 p.m: Avocado with some baked, organic tortilla chips.

Oh Monday.

6:00 a.m: Protein shake. Rice milk, flax seed, strawberry, banana, protein powder.

Exercise (7:00 a.m): 1 hour with trainer. You know, I bitch internally when I agree to these morning sessions but after it's done I feel way better. I come to work feeling accomplished and happy that I get to go home right after work. Sooo in summary, suck it up and go to the morning session. You won't regret it.

12:15 p.m: My leftovers from last night. Quinoa, lemon juice, olive oil, chick peas, green onion, red pepper, tomato, corn, frozen veggies.
3:00 p.m: Snacking on roasted, not salted, almonds for the remainder of the afternoon til I get to go home!

6:30 p.m: Mmm. On the right side of the ring we have zucchini baked in olive oil with salt/pepper. On the left side of the ring, packing quite some punch, is a salad. Arugula, spinach, tomato, red pepper, goat cheese and ladies and gentlemen, my new best friend, TVP. It tasted like ground beef and is a grain. Amazing. Once again, who needs meat when you can get all this protein from other sources. Veggie wins the match!
9:00 p.m: Bit of greek yogurt.

Sunday.

I wonder what excitement today will bring...

11:30 a.m: Cereal with rice milk.

Exercise (1:30 p.m): 30 mins on treadmill, and a whole bunch of arm weight exercises.

Who needs meat? Check out this grocery store haul. All of the items in the front there are protein. I found this thing called TVP (textured vegetable protein), Quinoa, Protein cereal and my new hippy hemp protein powder. No more whey!
5:30 p.m: New recipe. Quite tasty. Here are all the ingredients in this number. Quinoa, bit of butter, olive oil, garlic, corn, zucchini, mushroom, vegetable broth. Mmmmmmmm. It was pretty much this recipe without the onion or parmesan.
7:15 p.m: Was still hungry. Realized I barely ate today. I had leftover quinoa so I made some lunch for tomorrow. More than I needed so yea, second dinner I suppose for tonight. Tasted pretty good. Ingredients were quinoa, red pepper, corn, frozen veggies, tomato, chick peas, green onion, cilantro, lemon juice, salt/pepper, olive oil. 
Ok, I think I've had enough for the day. Gonna watch TV for the rest of the night and try to accept that fact that tomorrow is Monday. It's ok. Oddly I look forward to the weekdays cause it means I get to work out at either boot camp or with the trainer. Just bringing me closer to my goal.

Saturday.

Bored, already. I've been awake for like 10 minutes. What to do today....
I put on the AC last night knowing it would be hot today. So now I have no concept of what the weather is like outside. I just see sun. So, I will likely hibernate. But there is nothing to do in here. hmmm. I considered taking a trip to IKEA. I need a shelf. But, Saturday's at IKEA means families and children. I don't do well with that.

Ok, I'm gonna make myself a shake for breakfast and then sit here and decide.

12:00 p.m: Protein shake. Rice milk, flax seed, strawberry, banana, protein powder.

3:00 p.m: Leftovers. Asparagus, broccoli and potatoes with greek yogurt.

Booooooooring. I watched a movie. Devil's Rejects. It was.. ok. In a morbid kind of way. Now what?

6:00 p.m: English muffin with hummus.

F. I'm bored. Like, really bored. I don't want to work out cause of female issues. Yep, it's an issue. WTF do I do!?! My parents are trying to convince me to go this Armenian music festival happening tonight. It'll have live music and good food and every Armenian in Toronto will likely be there - except me. I have one Armenian friend and we are not a huge part of the community. I'm so bored right now I am considering going. However, it's $30 admission. Do I feel like paying $30 to sit there and feel awkward?  I think I just decided right there. No one else really seems free to hang out tonight. Boooo. I feel like I'm gonna end up watching another movie from the "movies I'll only watch when I'm really bored" list.

8:30 p.m: Cereal with rice milk.

I watched 'Slumdog Millionaire'. Saw it when it was new, so it was nothing exciting. But hey, something to do. Now what? I see tonight being an early night. TV has sucked. The most interesting thing on all day has been a 'Project Runway' marathon. Gets boring.

9:30 p.m ish: I got a call. A friend who was around and hungry. Not proud of this cause I made the suggestion but we went for sushi... BAH! So delicious. Sushi is my only exception where I eat meat. Well, it's just shrimp and salmon but still. I feel fullllll. See below. I didn't eat it all, obviously, but it was shared.It's like 11:15 now and I still feel full. Regret? Kinda. Not really. Salmon with cream cheese! Come on! :)

Friday.

Finally, Friday. I put my alarm on this morning to go for a run and then I slept instead. I don't think I can ever do morning unless I'm forced too. Like boot camp. I love sleep too much!

7:30 a.m: Cereal with flax seed and rice milk.

Is it horrible that all I can think of is the red velvet cupcake that I was promised by a co-worker? Sad. She went to pick them up for some meeting that got cancelled. I want. I tasted red velvet last week and it's love. So, I am eating it. I want it, now.

...annnnnd here it is. YUM. Sugary goodness. Why does it say Toyota NOW! Don't ask. Work related.
12:45 p.m: Went to Hosu with co-workers. Fullll. Got the veggie bibimbap. Rice and veggies essentially. Too much food.
4:30 p.m: Friday afternoon at work. Never a good thing. Stuffed my face with regular chips. Grease city. Home now. Friends are coming over and I'm sure food will be involved. We'll see!

9:00 p.m ish: Saw a movie with a friend then went to Spring Rolls for dinner. Ah, Fridays, always  bad food day. I had the asparagus, broccoli, tofu something or other with rice. My rice intake today is skyyyyy high!

Thursday.

Exercise (7:00 a.m): 45 minute boot camp.

9:15 a.m: Oatmeal. This is getting delicious with all this stuff I add to it. So, oatmeal, water, flax seed, cinnamon, coconut shavings and sliced banana.
11:00 a.m: May have had like 2 thin pieces of carrot cake... damn the office temptations.

12:30 p.m: I went to Z Teca. I enjoy it there and I think I'm one of few who does. Anyways, I got a veggie burrito. Ingredients include whole wheat tortilla, rice, beans, sour cream, cheese, guacamole, mild salsa, onion, green peppers. So F-in good.
6:30 p.m: Put asparagus and broccoli in the oven, drizzled with olive oil, garlic and salt. Then some boiled potato with greek yogurt. Yum! Also had a low fat English muffin with hummus.

Is this annoying?

I ask this to my followers and followers alone.
I am constantly updating my blog and everytime I do, the time updates as well (well, when I remember to do that). Anyways, that must mean that my posts must always be at the top of your dashboard area where you can see sites you follow. Is that annoying?
I thought about it and I hope my "I ate this and I ate that" jibberish isn't clogging your dashboards! If so, sorry! There's nothing I can do about it really.

Extra in the sitcom of my life.

So, there's this man, I've seen him like maybe 4 times in the last year or so. I decided he's an extra in the sitcom that is my life. Why is he memorable? Picture this.

40 something year old man. Tall, heavy set, huge tutu, ladies hat, knee high socks, mary jane shoes, womens shirt. Very Harajuku.

Ummmm, you'll remember this guy. I always see him in random spots around Toronto. No consistency. Ummm the people running my life Truman Show style are screwing up right now. I'm on to him! Anyways, point to this. I enjoy him. I commend his confidence in having the guts to walk outside everyday and look the way he does. Every single time I see him I notice the people around him laughing and staring but he seems to ignore. He's awesome. I wish I had a picture of him.

8:00 a.m: Half a banana

10:15 a.m: 3/4 of an orange. Turned out a bit dry, had to pick out the good pieces. I hate oranges for this. You never know if you're gonna get a good one.

12:45 p.m: Good ol Ravi Soups. Pricy but tasty. I had the porcinni mushroom soup and a veggie wrap. Fillllling.
5:15 p.m: Energy protein bar pre workout. I did enjoy half a cupcake at some point around 4 I think. Might as well mention it.

Exercise (6:00 p.m): 1 hour with trainer.

8:15 p.m: Salad. Arugula, spinach, goat cheese, red pepper, tomato, potato, green onion, balsamic dressing.  
Ok fine. So I had an avocado that was gonna go bad soon... I couldn't let it. That stuff is expensive! Sooo I ate it. I won't lie. I was full from the salad but seriously, avocados are so good. So, I just had it with some nachos. Healthy flax seed nachos! But still, nachos. No more food!

Tuesday.

5:30 a.m: Protein shake. Water, protein powder, strawberries.

Exercise (7:00 a.m): 45 min. boot camp. Today was tough. Basically you had pieces of newspaper under you feet at all times and are pretty much dragging your entire body weight across the room. I died.

9:00 a.m: Oatmeal with flax seed, coconut shavings, cinnamon and banana. Mixed with hot water. Delicious.

12:30 p.m: Salad. I brought the arugula from home and bought toppings here. Mushrooms, few peppers, chick peas, potato, brocolli... with balsamic dressing.
I'm wearing these new pants I got over the week-end. They fit... snug. Basically, they fit the way my old pants fit before. Muffin top city. I am wearing it with a loose fitting top but still, I know it's tight and it bothers me. I feel fat again! Anyways, motivation for me to fit into these one's better now. I gotta weigh myself again soonish. Next week. I promise!

It's too hot in the office. 1 hour ago it was nice and cold. Now I'm hot. Grrrr.

7:00 p.m: Smushed an avocado with cilantro, garlic, lemon juice & salt and had with few chips. Then I had a few baby carrots, broccoli and red pepper with hummus. Didn't finish a lot of that... like half. The avocado filled me up.

Monday.

The best kind of Monday is the kind you have off.

10:30 a.m: Cereal with rice milk. I like this new cereal cause it has 13g of protein per serving. I feel lik I'm startling to lack in the protein department.

12:30 p.m: Finally finished off the last of the potato salad.

What to do today... I think I'm gonna go to the grocery store. Get some shopping in for the week. Definitely have to get a work out in. Maybe it's a good day for another try and running. We'll see. All I know is I have to get off this couch before I take a nap again...

Oh, side note. My neck pain is not fully gone. I'm a bit annoyed. I can function and all but every morning it's there. I bought  anew pillow yesterday, a good one. Hoping that helps a bit.

2:15 p.m: Walked to the grocery store. Maybe a 20 minute walk. Too hot outside. But hey, it was exercise. I had some of the below before doing the shopping. Small container of wheatberry salad, green beans, tabouli and piece of scalloped potato.
Exercise (4:15 p.m): 15 mins treadmill and some arm weight exercises. I miss the gym. I just don't have the motivation to go hardcore like I do at boot camp or with the trainer.    

5:30 p.m: I feel like I've been eating a lot today. Meh. Salad. Arugula, spinach, goat cheese, red pepper, tomato and green onion with balsamic dressing. Had a low fat English muffin with hummus on top as well. 
Exercise (7:00 p.m): Jogged/walked 4.5k. It took me 40 mins this time. Not good. Towards the last big stretch I pulled a muscle and had to walk it off. I probably should've stretched pre start.... duhhhhhh. Ah well, it was still exercise!
Look who was following me. That bastard! I had no $$. Phew!
8:45 p.m: Had a few baby carrotts dipped in hummus. 

I'm done eating now. Nothing good on TV either. As soon as the laundry is done I'm sleeping. Borrrrrred.

Sunday.

Woke up in my old bed with the fan pointing right at me. Just like old times! The parents house is not an ice box like mine.

11:00 a.m: Corn flakes with milk.

12:30 p.m: Went to the mall and had lunch there. Not the greatest. Some veggies, tofu and noodles. Fatty McFatterson over here.
 2:30 p.m: Bowl of tabouli. Another bowl of ice cream. Damn the parent's! At least I got greens...

Exercise (3:30 p.m): 40 mins on treadmill, no jog but was walking pretty damn fast. Did a few floor exercises but nothing mentionable.

6:30 p.m: Banana

7:45 p.m: Potato salad, brocoli, red pepper with hummus. Had a proein shake following. Rice milk, protein powder, flax seed, strawberry.

Saturday.

Saturday feels much nicer when you know you have Sunday and Monday off. Woohoo!

11:30 a.m: Potato salad. Leftover from yesterday.

Empty hangers ready for new clothes! :)
I cleaned out tons of clothes out of my closet today. Clothes that were either too big, that I never wore or that aren't "me" anymore. Who is "me"? Who am I? Whatever. The clothes I would've picked out even a year ago are not the clothes I'd pick out today. I feel more grown up I guess. I think twice when I see a shirt with colourful polkadots! I want it, but, should a 26 year old be wearing that? No. Not to say that I'm getting rid of the polkadots and leopard print and blah blah but I'm just altering the look. I'm learning that no one takes you seriously if you don't take yourself seriously. No folks, I'm not becoming someone else. I'm still me! But, refined. It's sad that all this happened just because I've lost a bit of weight. If you're skinny, you wouldn't get this. But it's not easy trying to find nice clothes when nice clothes don't fit you. So you go for the loose shirt and jeans when really you want the badass blazer and cute skirt.

4:00 p.m: Fried a shit load of veggies in olive oil and had it with greek yogurt. Odd, I know. Meh, it tasted ok and I got lots of veggies.
5:30 p.m: Protein shake. Rice milk, water, strawberry, flax seed, coconut shavings and strawberry banana protein powder. 

I went to my parent's house so the rest is a blur as I couldn't update very frequently. hmmm. 
Parent's backyard. Free wi-fi. Niiiiice.
 7:00 p.m: Fatoush. Small bowl. Delicious middle eastern salad with crispy pita bread. Yum! Also snacked on some torilla chips, a few almonds, and well, a few scoops of ice cream. Oh! and a banana too at some point.
 Annoyed. I was out and about just doing random stuff and I had planned to come back home to go on the treadmill. My friends called and were all going to a pub. I caved and went. I'm mad at myself for it. Especially cause...

10:00 p.m ish: Sweet potato fries with some mayo.
